It's time to pull out the jackets and layer up again.
Join us on the lake front pushing through the wind and cold as we wrap up our 2008
season. We will be doing some moderate runs, hill training and more.
This is also a good way to stay in shape for the holidays.
First timers are welcome to join us.
Duration: 10 weeks


Winter Warrior Running Program
Jan - Mar  
We are taking it up a notch. This is for the true
Warriors who can endure the
February Blast after dealing with the January  Storm. We will have longer runs and
more intense training. This is also great way to get a jump start on the 2008
running season.

Summer Warrior Running Program

Did your running performance slip over the winter? Do you want to add some
running to your workout plan or are you looking to do your first small road race
(5K or 10K) this year? Get on-board with RWA and we will help you achieve your
goals. Program is design for first timers and people who want to stay active during
the summer months.
Durations: 14 weeks
Meet days: Saturday mornings - 63rd Street Beach parking lot
Wednesday evenings - LaRibada Hosp parking lot

Half / Full Marathon Training Program

Is this finally your year to do your first full or half marathon?
Let RWA help you cross the finish line and earn the title of marathoner.
These program will be incorporated with the RWA Tour. Training is designed for
anyone (beginners and intermediate) interested in participating  in a half / full
marathon.  
Duration: Half 14 weeks / Full 18 weeks
Meet days: Saturday mornings - 63rd Street Beach parking lot
Wednesday evenings - LaRibada Hosp parking lot

Training days cancellation:
We are ROAD WARRIORS...... which mean we TRAIN.
Training days are only canceled for safety due to extreme weather conditions:
Severe Wind Advisory
Severe Cold Advisory
Severe Heat Advisory (start time will be adjusted accordingly)
Severe Rain/Lightin Storms
Heavy Snow Flurries

Programs are designed for the first timer to intermediate runner.
Training will include some short runs, long runs, track and hill workouts.
There also will be clinics on nutrition, core strength and techniques.
